The match v Torquay (17/10/87) was a not so exciting 0-0 draw. However, prior to the match we spent a decent while in the Lion Hotel sampling some good local ale - it numbed the pain. It goes without s...Another great write-up Mr. Smid.<BR/><BR/> It goes without saying that the one time I've been to Victoria Park we(Northampton) got beat as per usual One moment I remember clearly - The ball got sandwiched between an attacking Cobbler and a Hartlepool defender, spooned up about forty feet in the air and then came flying down smack on the head of a young ball boy who up until then had been oblivious to the footballing action.
